This Privacy Policy explains what information ClientPact collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of the ClientPact platform and website.
We collect information you provide directly — your name, email, organization, and billing details when you create an account — as well as the client, project, deliverable, and scope data you enter into ClientPact.
When you connect an integration such as ClickUp or Slack, we receive data from those services (for example task details, messages, and identifiers) needed to detect and classify out-of-scope work. We also collect limited technical data such as log and usage information automatically.
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve ClientPact; to detect and classify scope changes; to generate reports and change orders; to process payments; and to communicate with you about your account and the service.
Some features use AI models to classify requests and draft summaries. Content you submit may be sent to our AI provider solely to produce these results.
Scope classification, SOW parsing, and report drafting are performed by sending the relevant text to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). We do not use your data to train third-party models, and the provider processes it only to return results to us.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate ClientPact (such as hosting, database, payment, email, and AI providers) under contractual confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
If your agency invites client users to the portal, those users can see the information you choose to share with them, such as approval requests and scope summaries.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After account closure we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive credentials such as integration tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email, and the "last updated" date above will be revised.
